Views:
  1. Trace/Recall Initiation: Users with the “Initiate Trace and Recall” role (assigned by the company admin) can initiate traces or recalls via the UI or API.
  2. Eligible Payments: Traces and recalls can be initiated for processed external payments within the last 6 months.
  3. Ineligible Payments: These actions are not available for SEPA Instant, Faster Payments, pending payments, or completed traces.
For specific cases:
  • SEPA Instant: Email clientservices@bankingcircle.com with the payment’s 010F.
  • Faster Payments – Trace: Provide the 010F; we’ll return the FPID for beneficiary bank tracking.
  • Faster Payments – Recall: Complete and return the attached CPR form.

 

NOTE:  Before initiating a recall or trace we suggest you search your credits from date of original transaction to current date - to make sure funds have not already been returned

Amendments

Please note that we are unable to make amendments to payments once submitted.
If the beneficiary bank submits a Request for Further Information (RFI), we will be able to proceed accordingly. In the meantime, we kindly ask you take the following steps:
  1. Internal Review: Please check with your internal RFI team to confirm whether we have already contacted you regarding any outstanding RFIs.
  2. Internal Review: Check your reporting as payment may have been returned - we suggest you search your credits from date of original transaction date to current date 
  3. Amendment Requests: For any amendments, please request that the beneficiary bank submit an official RFI to us. This will enable us to take the necessary action.

 

NOTE: All payment investigations such as Recalls, Tracers, Amendments are charged at EUR35.00
